Celebrating 25 Years of NICEIC Registration

JJ Loughran are delighted to celebrate 25 years of registration with NICEIC (National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting).

NICEIC is the UK’s leading voluntary regulatory body for the electrical contracting industry. It has been assessing the electrical competence of electricians for nearly sixty years and currently maintains a roll of over 26,000 registered contractors.

We undergoes a rigorous assessment process, covering samples of our workmanship, premises, documentation, equipment, and the competence of our key supervisory staff. We are then re-assessed on a regular basis to ensure continued compliance.

JJ Loughran are part of the NICEIC  Approved Contractor scheme, this is for electrical contractors undertaking design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of electrical installations to BS 7671.

 

The scheme covers:

  • electricians working on commercial and industrial installations
  • electricians working on domestic installations
  • electrical installation condition reporting (testing, inspection, PIRs)
  • street lighting installers
  • security systems installers
  • or any other activity covered by BS 7671
