AC Laminated Frame - RPMAC Motors
Industrial electric motors from Baldor are available for most general purpose applications and processes. However, some AC Variable Speed applications require high performance capabilities including constant torque down to zero speed, wide constant horsepower range, high response applications that require low inertia rotors, or High Speed capabilities. The RPM AC motor is most suitable for tough variable speed industrial applications where high performance, and power density (compact size and weight) is most important. RPMAC Laminated Frame Motors are available in both standard induction and ultra high-density Interior Permanent Magnet (IPM) Versions.
AC VS Master Motors
Industrial electric motors from Baldor are available for most general purpose applications and processes. However, some AC Variable Speed applications require constant torque down to zero speed. The VS Master motor is a standard NEMA Frame Motor that can deliver a 1000:1 Speed Range in a standard TEFC Enclosure (without the need for a Blower).
AC Inverter/Vector Duty Motors
Industrial electric motors from Baldor are available for most general purpose applications and processes. However, some AC Variable Speed applications require constant torque at zero speed. Inverter/Vector motors are designed specifically for adjustable speed applications in a standard NEMA Frame motor. Additionally, the AC Inverter/Vector Motors can be ran across the line for bypass operation and can deliver a 1000:1 Speed Range in a standard TENV or TEBC Enclosure.
Cooling Tower Motors
The RPM AC™ synchronous PM motor uses laminated finned frame construction to provide a highly efficient power dense package with flange mounting dimensions that can replace the right angle gearbox and jack shaft installation in many conventional cooling towers. This same technology is offered in conventional, yet power dense, foot mounted designs that can replace the belt and sheave application where more vertical mounting space is available.
